Who is Robbie?
I design with a teacher’s heart and a strategist’s eye.
Before product design, I spent years as an elementary special education teacher, where I learned to build and create for diverse needs, communicate with clarity, and iterate relentlessly. Every lesson plan was a prototype. Every student is a user with unique requirements.
Today, I’m a Staff Product Designer with 8+ years of experience leading 0→1 initiatives, designing data-rich platforms, and building scalable systems across hospitality, restaurant tech, SaaS, and fintech. I specialize in simplifying complex problems, aligning cross-functional teams, and turning fragmented data into clear, actionable insights.
My work is grounded in empathy, experimentation, and impact, whether I’m shaping product vision, facilitating strategy workshops, or mentoring designers. The goal is always the same: create thoughtful, impactful, and usable experiences that serve real people.
Let’s make something meaningful.

Side Projects
I love designing beyond the screen. Projects like The Knuckle, a CNC-machined pool cue holder, started by spotting a real problem and listening to users who wanted something better than the cheap, generic options on the market.
From sketches to aluminum prototypes, the process became an extension of my product design practice, focused on usability, durability, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
I Love To Doodle
It’s my way of slowing down, staying present, and reconnecting with the creative roots that first drew me to design. In 7th grade, a teacher once told me, “Stop drawing in my class—but don’t ever stop drawing, because you never know where it will take you.”
That stuck with me. I’ve been sketching ever since, filling dozens of notebooks along the way. These doodles are a small window into how I think, explore ideas, and stay creatively curious.
